GALWAY CYCLISTS CALLS ON MINISTER TO BLOCK ROAD CHANGES

Galway cyclists are calling on the Transport Minister to block the Doughishka and Seamus Quirke road designs.The Galway Cycling Campaign says the proposed cycle paths for the 2 roads are too dangerous.Instead, they want the roads to be widened to allow for cyclists, and are urging for a meeting with Galway's Dail representatives to discuss this.Oisín Ó Nidh, who's secretary of the Campaign is urging Transport Minister Noel Dempsey to make changes to the Doughishka and Seamus Quirke road designs...
