GALWAY BOAT OWNERS WARNED OF ENGINE THEFTS

Boat owners across Galway are being warned to secure their outboard engines better.

It's after a spate of robberies of boat engines around the county over the last few weeks.

Anyone who's offered an engine for sale is asked to contact Galway Garda station immediately.

The most recent incident saw an outboard engine and grey dingy stolen at Tarrea Pier in Kilcolgan within the past few days.
