FUTURE FOR PROPOSED SOUTH CONNEMARA ROAD UNCERTAIN

Connemara County Councillors voted last evening for the development of proposed new South Connemara road.

However they have chosen a route other than the one preferred by the planners.

It now appears that the row over the route - which relates largely to Special Areas of Conservation and environmental designations - may end the plan for the new road.
