FURTHER OPPOSITION TO CONTROVERSIAL CITY ROUNDABOUT PLAN

Several Galway county councillors are objecting to plans to replace roundabouts in the city with signalised junctions.

At last evening's meeting of the county Council, councillors asked that their objections be passed on to transport officials in the city council.

It's being proposed to replace the seven roundabouts between the motorway and the hospital roundabout at the Westside with signalised junctions similar to the one built at Moneenageisha.
