FORMER TYRE CENTRE MANAGER GETS 3 YEAR SENTENCE FOR DRUG DEALING

A former manager of a tyre centre in Ballybrit has been given a three year sentence with the final 18 months suspended for drug dealing in Oranmore. 38 year old Declan Walsh, formerly of 10 Lios Roe, Oranmore and more recently of 125 Coill Tire, Doughiska, Merlin Park, pleaded guilty at Galway Circuit Criminal Court this week to having almost 11,000 worth of cocaine and ecstasy in his possession for supply to others at Main Street, Oranmore on February 29th last year. Walsh also pleaded guilty to having ecstasy for supply to others at 10 Lios Roe, Oranmore, on the same date.
