The future of Galway job creation lies in the area of biotechnology.
That's according to Fine Gael leader, Enda Kenny, who says Galway is well placed to create endless job opportunities in this area.
Speaking in Galway today, Deputy Kenny said it's time the government takes advantage of Galway's position as a world leader in wind speeds.
The opposition leader met with local business people in Galway earlier to discuss plans for economic recovery.
He was joined by the party's main economic spokespeople, Richard Bruton, George Lee and Leo Varadkar.
The Fine Gael leader also proposed a number of measures to help Galway businesses in the current economic climate.
