EQUALITY AUTHORITY TO MEET WITH GALWAY GROUPS

The Equality Authority will meet with voluntary and community organisations, aswell as employers in Galway to brief them on the work of the authority next week. [9/5]The Authority is preparing a new strategic plan for the period 2009 to 2011 based on legislation combatting discrimination in areas such as the workplace and vocational training.Representatives of the Authority will meet with local groups and businesses to listen to their experiences and suggestions.The event will take place at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill tomorrow week Friday the 9th of May.
