Galway Gardaí say they're 'not treating as suspicious' the death of a man who was recovered from the River Corrib this morning.

The man, understood to be in his mid 30s, was taken ashore by the RNLI at around twenty past nine, and was later pronounced dead at University Hospital Galway.

A post mortem on his body is expected to be carried out this evening or tomorrow.
