DATE SET FOR BOOK OF EVIDENCE AGAINST MANUELA MURDER ACCUSED

The Book of Evidence is to be served in three weeks time on the city man accused of murdering 17 year-old Swiss schoolgirl Manuela Riedo. Gerard Barry of 187 Rosan Glas, Rahoon, but originally of Mervue, is charged with her murder on scrubland behind Ceannt railway station on October 8th last year. He appeared before Castlerea District Court today [fri mar 7], and his next court appearance will be in Galway city on March 31st.
