DANA YET TO COMMENT ON PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

It's still unclear if Claregalway resident Dana will pull out of the race for the Aras.

The Independent Presidential candidate hasn't made any of her scheduled public appearances today following last night's dramatic statement on RTE.

At the end of the Prime Time presidential debate, Dana said 'vile and false allegations have been made against a member of her family'.

However she would not be drawn on the nature of the allegations and has so far been unavailable for comment.

Dana is expected to release a statement to clarify her position in the coming days.
