DANA RETURNS TO CAMPAIGN TRAIL

Presidential candidate Dana Rosemary Scallon is back on the canvas trail this morning after taking time out to consult her lawyers over the last few days.

The Claregalway resident has vowed to stay in the presidential race despite what she describes as a recent bullying attempt to destroy her campaign.

The Independent candidate confirmed last night that she would not withdraw, despite the ongoing controversy involving her family.

She began her canvas in Oranmore and Claregalway and is scheduled to move on to Mayo, Sligo and Donegal.
