A 33-year-old man charged with the murder of his mother in Galway earlier this year has been further remanded in custody.
Dubravko Ostojic, with an address at 52 Claí Mór, Ballybrit, is charged with the murder of Milena Ostojic at 52 Claí Mór, Ballybrit on April 24, 2026, contrary to Common Law.
At Galway District Court, Sergeant Damien Prendergast said the case was listed for service of the book of evidence.
However the court was told the book of evidence is not yet complete and a further remand in custody was being sought.
Defence solicitor John Martin said he had nothing to say to the State’s application.
Judge Fiona Lydon remanded the accused in custody to appear via video-link on September 21.
The court was previously told the Director of Public Prosecutions has directed trial on indictment at the Central Criminal Court.
