County council pilot project on rubbish bins
Galway Bay fm newsroom - County Council rubbish bins are being removed from some villages in Connemara as part of a pilot project.
It is thought that overly packed bins may sometimes lead to more, rather than less, littering on village streets.
The initiative is being tried out in villages such as Cleggan and Roundstone, and may also take place in Clifden later in the year.
