COUNCILLOR WANTS CITY ESB CABLES PUT UNDERGROUND

A councillor is calling on the ESB to put all electricity cables in residential and amenity areas in the city undergroundCouncillor Niall O Brolchain wants the city council to work out a plan with the ESB to carry out the work over a 5 year period.The Green Councillor is welcoming the removal of pylons and overhead wires in the Westside area but wants the same work to take place all over the city.In particular he's not happy about the proposed overhead wires planned for Cappagh Park in Knocknacarra.
