CONNEMARA FISH FACTORY TO KEEP CONTROVERSIAL EFFLUENT TANKS

A fish processing factory in Cil Chiarain has got the go-ahead to keep two controversial effluent treatment tanks. An Bord Pleanala has granted Cil Chiarain Eisc Teo permission to retain the tanks, despite opposition from local residents. They claim a foul smell emanates from the tanks.
