Concern grows for man missing from Moycullen nursing home

Frank Helly, who's in his 80s and originally from Salthill was last seen at a nursing home at Church road Moycullen at 7 o' clock last evening.The alarm was raised and Gardaí began searches assisted by the Coastguard helicopter and Casla Bay rescue team.Frank is described as about 6 feet 1 in height and was wearing a blue shirt, yellow tie, maroon sweater and khaki-coloured trousers when last seen.Gardai are asking farmers and landowners between Moycullen and the city to check outbuildings and on their land.They're also asking any taxi drivers who may have been in the Moycullen area after 7pm or visitors to the nursing home, who may have seen Frank to contact them.Salthill Gardaí can be contacted at  091 51 47 20.
