The city is to host the first Irish IntroPreneurship active workshop and it will be held from November 7th to 9th.

The three day bootcamp, which is organised by Entrepeneur Mindset and Global Innovation, will offer students insights into a wide range of topics including marketing, technology and other fundamental aspects of business.

The first two days of the event will be aimed at transition year students and will be hosted by two experienced entrepeneurs from one of London's top investment firms, MG Equity.

The last day will see six selected members of the public pitch their ideas to the London based entrepeneurs.

Director of the Galway Education Centre, Bernard Kirk, said the bootcamp was created to introduce students to global entrepeneurship.
