A city residents committee has organised a public meeting to get answers on roadworks progress along the Doughiska road. Residents fear the road could be left like a concrete jungle if funding for landscaping is cut a city council level. The Doughiska, Roscam and Ardaun Committee will host the public meeting in the Racing Lodge Hotel at 7.30 tonight. Representatives from Galway city council, Ryan Hanley engineers and landscape architects Cunnane Stratton and Reynolds will also attend.
