City private hospital plans expansion
Galway bay fm newsroom - Plans are underway to expand the endoscopy department at a private hospital in the city.Bon Secours hospital on the Dublin road has submitted the application to city planners.
The plans for the extension at the hospital in Renmore also include the demolition of the Gate Lodge and concrete yard.In its place, the hospital wants to build a single-storey stand-alone consultants' clinic, with two clinic suites, a reception and waiting areas.The development will mean works to the main entrance and changes to the entrance boundary wall, internal roadways and pedestrian paths.The City Council is due to decide on the proposal for an extension at the Bons Secours hospital in the city in October.
