CITY MAN CONVICTED OF DRUG DRIVING

A city man has been fined and put off the road for four years after he was found guilty of drug driving.29 year-old Michael O’Carroll of 54 Innishannagh Park, Newcastle, was convicted at Galway District Court yesterday of being in charge of a vehicle in a public place with intent to drive while under the influence of an intoxicant.Judge Gerard Houghton also convicted O'Carroll of having cannabis resin in his possession at Rahoon Cemetery on October 1st.
