A City Councillor has questioned whether multi-licensing is permitted for city rickshaw operators.

Cllr Frank Fahy has also warned that many rickshaw operators are operating without an appropriate license in the city centre.

Between 10 to 12 rickshaw licences have been granted by the City Council so far at a cost of 100 euro each.

City Manager Joe O'Neill says Gardai will continue to enforce any breaches in licensing.

And he says the legislation surrounding multi-licensing WILL be investigated by the local authority
