City Council urged to hire additional outdoor staff

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Mayor of Galway Donal Lyons is calling on Galway City Council to hire additional staff for the maintenance of green spaces. It follows a heated discussion at this week's council meeting about the quality of grass cutting work being undertaken. A number of councillors have criticised the work being done in public parks and housing estates. Mayor Lyons says he's received numerous representations from residents.
