The City Council is being urged to carry out much needed minor works to homes of the elderly and disabled.

It emerged at a meeting of the city council last night, that no adaptations have been carried out on Local Authority houses in the city this year.

The changes include providing downstairs toilet facilities, walk-in showers and other necessary works.
