CARNA COMMUNITY TO HAVE RUNNING WATER EARLY NEXT YEAR

The extension of the public water scheme to the Letterard -Moyrus area of Carna will go to tender in the next few weeks.Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames has met with local residents from the Carna area to outline the extension plans.Many residents who attended the meeting have never had running water and had to buy drinking water and collect rain water for domestic use.The project will go to tender in the next month and the Letterard -Moyrus community is expected to have public water by March next year.
