CAR SALES IN GALWAY RISE ABOVE NATIONAL AVERAGE

Car sales in Galway have risen above the national average.
Figures have risen over 12 per cent from the same period last year, with the national average being 10 per cent.
Just over 3,600 cars were registered in Galway so far this year.
7 in 10 cars sold were diesel, and the number of passenger cars registered dropped by more than 35 per cent on 2010 figures.
