CALL FOR SOUTH CONNEMARA FIRE STATION

A Sinn Féin Senator is calling on the Government to put in place the necessary resources to provide a fire station in South Connemara.Senator Trevor O' Clochartaigh raised the issue in the Seanad this week, saying the long delay in reaching fires in certain parts of Connemara is unacceptable.He is supporting the campaign by community group, Coiste Cearta Chonamara, which is trying to get a fire service in the area.
