CALL FOR DAILY DAWN CLEANING OF LOUGHREA STREETS

Date Published: 13-Aug-2009

Concern has been raised over the county council's delay in cleaning the streets of Loughrea each morning. Loughrea County councillor Bridie Willers says no one is available from the council to clean the litter-strewn streets until mid-morning. Cllr Willers told Keith Finnegan there's no reason the council can't organise for cleaning staff to begin work on the streets much earlier.
