CALL FOR COUNTY PARTICIPATION IN VOLVO OCEAN RACE

Date Published: 28-Feb-2012

Towns and villages across County Galway are being urged to get involved in the Volvo Ocean Race this July.

A public information meeting will take place next Monday to showcase the opportunity provided by the eight day festival.

The meeting aims to provide a platform for businesses and organistions to participate in the event and to consider organising local festivals to coincide with it.

The open evening, hosted by Galway Chamber of Commerce, takes place at the Meyrick Hotel next Monday March 5th at 6pm.
