Bord Gais to present plans at Tuam Town Council meeting
Bord Gais Networks is to make a presentation to Tuam Town Council next month on its plan to introduce gas to the town.
Work is expected to begin next month, however a final date has yet to be confirmed.
The energy provider is engaging in the final stages of talks with Galway County Council on the procurement of carrier ducts laid as part of the main drainage project.
It's estimated that the use of such pre-laid ducts will considerably reduce the amount of excavation required.
Bord Gais Networks is to present its plans to Tuam Town Councillors on Monday May 13th.
