BOOK OF EVIDENCE TO BE SERVED IN CITY RAPE

A book of evidence is to be served next week on a man charged with raping a UK woman in the city earlier this year.

The 23 year old, who can't be named for legal reasons, will appear before Galway District Court next Wednesday.

The man is charged with 10 counts of rape, including one of attempted anal rape, at a house in the west of the city on 5th of June this year.

He's also charged with false imprisonment and assault on the same date.
