Body found at Oranmore not believed to be that of missing teenager

An 18-year-old man is thought to have fallen into the River Corrib at O'Brien's Bridge at around 11.30 last evening.A major search operation was undertaken by the Garda water unit, Valentia Coast Guard and the RNLI.Gardai have confirmed that a body of a man in his early twenties has been discovered near Oranmore.The body has been taken to UHG, and a formal identification has yet to take place.Meanwhile, searches are continuing for the 18-year-old male believed to have fallen into the water at Bridge Street last evening.
