BALLINASLOE WRITER GUILTY OF SEX ASSAULT AT RISK OF REOFFENDING
Date Published: 07-Oct-2008
A Ballinalsoe author who pleaded guilty in July to sexually assaulting a 15 year old boy, is at risk of reoffending. Probation officer Nora Brassil told Tralee Circuit Criminal Court that 57 year old Desmond Hogan made it clear he saw the incident as a mutual sexual incident or relationship, as opposed to an offence. Judge Carl Moran adjourned the case until November 11 on the strict condition Hogan did not associate with young males.
