ARCHITECTS BEHIND SALTHIILL DEVON DEVELOPMENTS RESPOND TO OBJECTIONS

The architects behind new developments at Salthill Devon football club have responded to objections to block their proposals.

Simon J Kelly and partners claim a new car park will NOT bring more cars and buses onto the road network.

They are also rejecting claims that water run off from the pitches would cause flooding on nearby land.

Last May, Salthill Devon football club applied for permission to build a new access road and parking as well as a new spectator stand at its site in Drum East, Tonabrokey.

An Bord Pleanala will have final say in the matter and is expected to make it's decision on the developments next year.
