Applegreen may open at former Hanley Motors site in city
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A group which operates the forecourt retailing market Applegreen is seeking permission to take over a former filling station site on the Tuam road.
Petrogas group limited has lodged an application with city council to construct a new building to include filling points at the former Hanley motors site.
The plan also involves the construction of a retail area, food area, underground fuel storage tanks, and a car wash building.
City planners are expected to make a decision in December.
