APPEALS OVER PLANNED DISCOUNT STORE IN DOUGHISKA

A first party appeal has been lodged over two of the conditions set down by city planners in their approval of a discount foodstore on the Doughiska Road

The project in Sraith Fhada was given the go ahead subject to 27 conditions

The plans are also subject to a third party appeal with concerns raised over the design of the building and claims that it will have an adverse impact on traffic in the area

An Bord Pleanala is due to make a decision in March
