ANOTHER 12 MONTHS OF DOCK ROAD DISRUPTION

Motorists are facing another 12 months of traffic restrictions at the dock road in the city.

At a meeting in City hall today, developers told councillors they expect construction of the new art house cinema near the Spanish Arch to be finished by July next year.

One lane of the dock road has already been closed for over a year to facilitate the construction the four million euro project.

The project has suffered several setbacks this year causing delays to its completion date.

Solas, the developers behind the project confirmed that construction will re-commence this October.
