Knocknacarra could be set to get a major new commercial and medical development.Aldi has applied for permission for a 5 storey over basement development on a greenfield site just off the Western Distributor road in Rahoon.The planned development in Knocknacarra would include an Aldi discount foodstore with off-licence at ground floor level.A community primary care centre with a pharmacy and consultant rooms would be located on the 2nd and third floors.Additional commercial and office units would be located on the first, third and fourth floors.The plans provide for 172 car parking spaces at surface and underground level.
