AER ARANN CHIEF TO DECIDE ON PRESIDENCY

AER Arann chief Padraig O'Ceidigh will decide if he should, or should not, enter the presidential election race within the next week or two.

Similar to another potential presidential candidate, broadcaster and TV presenter Gay Byrne, Padraig O Ceidigh, has not yet ruled in or out a run for the Arus.

The Connemara-based entrepeneur is undersood to be currently consulting with family, friends and close associates regarding the matter.

If Padraig O'Ceidigh were to enter the Presidential race it would have a major impact of the chances of the other Galway candidate currently in the race, veteran Labour politician Michael D. Higgins.
