50 JOBS FOR GALWAY GAELTACHT REGION

Up to 50 new jobs are to be created in the Galway Gaeltacht region.

Údarás na Gaeltachta today approved a number of projects which will lead to the creation of 73 new jobs nationwide and a total investment of 3 point 6 million euro.

A large percentage of these jobs will be in Galway and focused on the food and IT sectors.

Meanwhile, An Spidéal native, Steve Ó Cúláin has been announced as the new CEO for Údaras na Gaeltachta.
