48 PATIENTS ON TROLLIES AT GALWAY HOSPITALS

Almost 50 patients are waiting on trollies at our hospitals in Galway this afternoon.

Full capacity protocol is still in place at University Hospital Galway this afternoon as 38 patients are waiting on trolleys.

21 patients are waiting at A & E, 11 are at the medical assessment unit, and 6 patients have been dispersed to wards around the hospital.

In Ballinasloe,10 patients are waiting on trollies for treatment at Portiuncula Hospital.
