18 MONTHS FOR TERMINALLY ILL MAN WHO ABUSED AND RAPED DAUGHTERS IN COUNTY GALWAY

A 74 year old terminally ill man has been jailed for 18 months for repeatedly abusing and raping his daughters in Co Galway between 1977 and 1990.
The Central Criminal Court heard the 5 girls were as young as 4 when the abuse began.
The man has cancer, a lung condition and MRSA.
