Deric O H’ Artagain had Ireland AM in heaps of laughter after he messes up on live TV
Ireland AM viewers were in fits of laughter after a presenter thought they were doing a rehearsal when in fact he was live on TV.
Deric O H’ Artagain was broadcasting in County Laois recently and can be seen scrolling on his mobile phone as he appears on live on Ireland AM.
He then says “Hi lads, good morning boys” and is still scrolling on his mobile phone. He didn’t have a clue that he was live.
It isn’t until he is asked “and what’s going on there?” that he looks up from his phone, realizing that they have gone live.
Deric said “oh are we live?” and then begins reporting live after a bit of a startle.
Viewers found the blip hilarious and it has received a large number of comments from people on social media who said that the blooper made their morning.
One person said, “ Saw this at the time. I was wondering what the fluff is going on. So funny …brightened up my day”.
Another person said “Hahaha! Naughty Deric getting caught rapid!”.
