MAN FURTHER REMANDED IN CUSTODY OVER ALLEGED CITY RAPE

A 23 year old man has been further remanded in custody charged with the alleged rape of a woman in the city last weekend.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Harristown district court today.

The incident happened at Water Lane in Bohermore at around 3a.m on Saturday October the 16th.

He's to appear before the courts again on Friday the 5th of November.
