Winners in any language!

Lorg Media, a leading bilingual marketing agency based in Galway, has been honoured for its contribution to the Irish language business landscape at the Gradaim Gnó na hÉireann Awards.
The awards ceremony took place before Christmas in Croke Park, where Lorg Media were recognised with top marks in all three national categories – Signage, Marketing and Branding, and Service through Irish.
To achieve gold recognition, Lorg Media surpassed the 80% completion mark on all of the above categories, resulting in three gold medals for the business.
At the event, 134 businesses were honoured with awards, but only 15 achieved the distinction of earning three gold medals, with Lorg Media being one of the 15.
Gradaim Gnó na hÉireann recognises businesses that integrate the Irish language into their daily routine and provide services through Irish to customers. Lorg Media's commitment to fostering the presence of the Irish language in their own business alongside client work, and their commitment to promoting Irish culture was acknowledged on the day in Croke Park.
Lorg Media Director Loretta Ní Ghabháin said that the Irish language had always been at the heart of the company's culture.
“As we grow year on year, the language has organically become a unique selling point for us,” she said.
“For our business to be recognised nationally with three gold medals for the efforts we make to help our clients and team to use and improve their Irish on a daily basis is special,” she added.
A number of criteria had to be met by Lorg Media in order to succeed. Irish language signage had to be visible both inside and outside the building, as well as integrating the Irish language into advertising, the company website and use of social media. Large emphasis was placed on service through Irish, including provision of supports for staff to improve both written and spoken Irish.
