Ballybane Enterprise Centre will host a free seminar tonight (Thursday) at 7pm with the aim of helping Irish businesses win international tenders.

The one hour seminar will be conducted by Seamus McCann of Consulting Ireland and introduced by Pat Dennigan of Daraleath Chartered Accountants, a participant on the current Consulting Ireland programme.

Consulting Ireland’s mission is to provide practical support to consultancy practices and individual consultants based in Ireland in targeting and developing new business opportunities in the emerging markets which are primarily funded by the major International Funding Institutions.

Recent studies have shown that Ireland ranks well below its European counterparts in terms of winning such business, countries such as Denmark are now winning ten times the business Ireland achieves.

"We are able to identify global business opportunities across all major sectors and to mentor companies to address the market, and help close the significant gap on European partner countries.

“The objective of Consulting Ireland is to develop a strategy to regain the status and share of these ever increasing market opportunities and help job creation for all sectors of the Irish economy. The development of these clusters must be kept part of our industrial strategy" says Séamus McCann, Chairman of Consulting Ireland

The free seminar is part of the free seminars series in the Ballybane Enterprise Centre. All interested parties can contact Michael in the Ballybane Enterprise Centre on 091-386004 or [email protected]. Space is limited so advanced reservations are advised.
