PJ’s Dickhead at Town Hall
Comedian PJ Gallagher returns to the Town Hall Theatre this Saturday night, February 3, with his latest show, Dickhead.
Best-known as the star of RTÉ’s Naked Camera, PJ’s personas in that series included ladies’ man Jake Stevens, ‘Dirty Auld One’ and a wonderfully gormless taxi driver who duped sports pundits George Hook and the late Bill O’Herlihy.
His previous stage shows include Concussion and Separated at Birth – with Joanne McNally. The Dubliner also regularly features at Kilkenny Cat Laughs, The Vodafone Comedy Carnival and the comedy stage at Electric Picnic.
A talented broadcaster, he co-presents P J and McCabe in the Morning with Jim McCabe on Classic Hits 4FM.
More recently, PJ has also worked as actor. A graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting, he performed at last year’s Dublin Theatre Festival in Alien Documentary and appeared in The Young Offenders, which won Best Irish Film at the 2016 Galway Film Fleadh.
■ Tickets for Dickhead are on sale now, at €20, from the Town Hall Theatre, tht.ie, or 091-569777.
