New single from multi-talented Galway group The Whileaways with album on way

The new single from Galway trio The Whileaways is being launched this Friday, July 24. Don't Say You're Gone is the first release from their forthcoming studio album, When You are Falling.
Their fifth studio album, will be released on September 25 and the event will be marked with a special concert in the city’s Town Hall Theatre on Tuesday, September 29
The single, Don't Say You're Gone, written by the group's Noriana Kennedy, is about resilience, friendship and finding hope, even during life's most difficult moments.
"It's about leaning on each other, finding positivity and embracing the light, even when that's hard to do,” she says.
It gives a first insight into When You are Falling, where the band's unmistakable blend of harmonies, songwriting and musical craftsmanship is again to the fore.
Recorded at Black Mountain Studios, County Louth, and produced by Alex Borwick, the album combines the warmth of The Whileaways' acoustic sound with Borwick's nuanced production.
Across twelve songs, When You are Falling explores love, loss, hope, connection and renewal via the distinctive voices of Nicola Joyce, Noelie McDonnell and Noriana, whose individual songwriting styles have become one of the defining characteristics of the Whileaways' sound.
Over the past decade, they have established themselves as one of Ireland's most highly regarded folk acts and following the release of When You are Falling, they will embark on an Irish and UK tour. That will begin with their hometown launch in the Town Hall Theatre.
Before that, Don't Say You're Gone is released this Friday on all major streaming platforms
Tickets for the Town Hall on September 29 are €28 plus booking fee and are available at tht.ie.
