Kiely makes two changes to Limerick team to face Galway in All-Ireland final

LIMERICK senior hurling manager John Kiely has made two changes to his starting XV for Sunday’s All-Ireland final showdown with Galway.
Mike Casey comes into the Limerick defence, while captain Cian Lynch makes his return from injury. Dan Morrissey and Darragh O’Donovan drop out of the Shannonsiders starting XV.
John Kiely’s side needed a late goal from Aidan O’Connor to get past Clare in the All-Ireland semi-final, while they edged past Cork in the Munster final. Limerick are appearing in their first All-Ireland semi-final since 2023. The All-Ireland hurling final between Galway and Limerick throws in on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm.
The GAA have also announced that there will be replays for All-Ireland finals this year - but only if sides are level after an additional 20 minutes. Should Galway and Limerick be level after 70 minutes plus the two 10-minute periods of extra-time, the sides will return to Croke Park to do it all again on Saturday, August 1.
