Pre-orders now being taken before item becomes available in-store from Friday

With preseason training underway and the fixtures for both the United Rugby Championship and the Investec Champions Cup confirmed, the next item on the list was the unveiling of Connacht's new jersey for the upcoming season, and it duly took centre stage on Wednesday morning.

The province says the new home jersey, which is released in partnership with Macron Sports and Intersport Elverys, "is a statement of confidence, ambition and pride – a new edge for a new season – and embodies the relentless mindset that has long been at the heart of Connacht Rugby".

The kit design takes its inspiration from the eagle and sword from the Connacht crest, and the province says the new look is all about "respecting tradition while embracing progress".

"Sharp detailing and subtle graphic elements echo the strength and precision of the crest, giving the jersey a bold, contemporary edge.

"While the iconic Connacht green remains at its core, vibrant lighter green accents introduce a fresh, modern energy that reflects the evolution of the club’s identity," read the statement accompanying images of the new look.

The jersey is again made from Macron’s Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester derived from post-consumer recycled plastic, and will be worn for the first time on Saturday August 8 when Connacht Women take on Ulster Rugby in the first round of the Vodafone IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship.

You can pre-order the jersey from today exclusively at www.elverys.ie, and will go on sale in Elverys store this Friday, July 17, along with the full 2026/27 training and leisure wear.

Participating stores include Headford Road Retail Park and Edward Square in Galway City; and Tuam in the county; as well as Ballina, Castlebar, Claremorris, and Westport; Sligo town; and Athlone.
