More than 80 homes to go under hammer

More than 80 properties are set to go under the hammer in Galway next month in the biggest auction ever to be held outside of Dublin.
O’Donnellan & Joyce’s Summer ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ auction will take place on Thursday, June 8, and includes properties in Galway City and county, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Mayo, Offaly, Roscommon, Leitrim, Sligo, Longford and Donegal.
“Without a doubt, this is the largest auction ever held in the West of Ireland and enormous local interest, as well as national and international interest, is anticipated.
“There is plenty of variety in this auction to suit investors, first-time buyers and families,” said auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan.
Some of the many properties for auction locally will include popular areas such as Salthill, Barna, Oranmore, Renmore, Loughrea, Furbo, Headford and Knocknacarra, with a selection of sites, houses, cottages and apartments on offer.
